A cup of tea

Naive dreams and nervous desires

A cup of constant

Once it meant a new adventure

A brew of borderline behaviour

It also meant a rebound

A cup of external validation

It meant hope too

A cha of delusional patterns

It’s been a love language

A cuppa of routine

Splitting despair and resentment

A cup of variable

It’s been a drink of distraction

Smoke and mirrors over a smoke

No tea, no shade

it’s just another charade

A beverage of epiphany

Storm in a teacup you said

A sip of hysteria

A blend in my head

Now who’d spill the tea?
